Any true chritian would be upset if Christ were depicted in an unflattering manner. In fact, he has been. However, Christianity teaches tolerence and forgivness of all others. Tolerance should be a virtue that every religion should hold. I have seen my Christian friends going bonkers when we talk about Holy Grail and things like that. They are closely bound to the church that they cannot even think out of it. Christianity is a religion with a "imperialistic nature”. Many of the down trodden in India have been converted to Christianity, paying some measly amount or may be at the cost of some food grains. With Freedom of Speech comes responsibility. If someone attacks or ridicules the fundamental foundation stone of anothers belief, then that will cause offence (no matter what religion). It is not good enough to say 'it was only a joke....' - the onus is on everyone to be sensible and sensitive to each others values. Unfortunately some goverments use Religion and religious books to run thier country, which is tottaly wrong. This reaction to these cartoons is just another example of the brain washing that occurs in a religion that preaches such hate. Religion was started as a way of controling the masses to provide some moral bases to a world with hardships we can't imagine and in a age that lacked basic knowlege of things we take for granted. well, i am just a visitor who happens to see these cartoons and i would like to say something fair for the muslims. maybe the cartoons are drawn only for fun, bt it is afterall an insult to the muslims. just like we dislike it when our religion is being criticised, the muslims does not like it also. suppose such a cartoon is drawn about your religion, and one of it view your religion as terrorism and even describe people of your religion as cowards who fear a certain culture. you might say that you will not mind but when it really happens, your reaction to it might be very different, especially when that comment is being publish all over the world.

The extremist 'muslims' causing all the destruction in Europe are really a bad example of their religion. The newspaper that posted the cartoons already apologized and the Danish government has nothing to do with it anyway! It all starts with children not obeying parents, parents not hitting kids to make them understand coz u cant hit kids as it is democracy ppl. Any human when punished in the right way for his mistakes will make him scared of commiting the same mistake again. Thats how the Humans get there senses knocked. If fear is not created among any one he/she will take advantage, and there is no value for a leader of a house,a society or a country. That why theres a religion tht makes ppl fear someone still supreme n thts god. So kids bonding with their parents can be only dreamt of in this country. No wonder they are praising the INDIAN culture. 3.Marriage ???? How many divorces??? How this works? First find compatibily by dating 100's of them, have sex like animals (considered like some kinda toy), atlast find 1, marry, some small argument crops up n then divorce. I am having a difficult time understanding why the Muslim population has become so outraged at these silly cartoons when they seem to be so tolerant and accepting of videos of their so called "Freedom Fighters" savagely cutting the heads off of innocent people. I think, you think, everybody thinks something... The only true is that we all are humans. As humans we are full of defects and make many mistakes. It's absurd to judge all muslims for a minority of terrorists. People should be more sensitive and understand how important and sacred are their believes for anyone who holds a religion. Well I agree with some and not with the rest. I am a Muslim and want to share something, which may be you agreed or not, its upto you. While reading the comments there is a line which states that a human is full of defects and it is true that nobody is perfect. Ok in my opinion if somebody did a mistake why he does not admits and say sorry. Some people comments that Muslims also make jokes of other religions, I do not agree with them. And if somebody did that, it is shameful and offcourse he was a culprit. Everybody has a right of free speeches but nobody has a right to make a joke of other religion whether he is Muslim, Christian or a Jew. Firstly, who says I am shouting. You are allowed to swear without shouting (at least you are in a western country). Secondly, everything you say is just lovely but the bottom line is everytime there is a religious dispute, the Muslims are involved. I don't know any religion that can possibly have a problem with Buddism yet somehow the Muslims even manage to aggravate them. Eg.
